Disclosure/Amendment Receipt Signing

Save time and keep every record in one place by sending Disclosure or Amendment documents and receipts in one email.

Requirements

  • Access to Spark’s Digital Contracts feature as part of your subscription

  • A DocuSign account that is linked to your project in Spark (see DocuSign Settings for setup details)

Before you start

Mass-sending Disclosures & Amendments for Signatures

  1. Navigate to Menu → Contracts → Disclosure & Amendments

  2. Open the relevant Disclosure or Amendment

  3. Click Request Signatures

  4. (Optional) Select the appropriate checkbox to CC agents/lawyers if needed

  5. Click Request Signatures to send the Disclosure/Amendment package for signing


Spark bundles the Disclosure/Amendment and any receipts into one DocuSign envelope and an email will be sent to every buyer who still needs to sign.

 

Sending Disclosures & Amendments on Individual Contracts

  1. Go to Menu → Contracts

  2. Select the appropriate contract

  3. In the Disclosures & Amendments section, click Generate to generate the disclosure/amendment document

  4. Click Request Signatures

  5. Review the signatories and ensure all parties that should be included in the envelope are selected
  6. Click Request Signatures

Spark bundles the Disclosure/Amendment and any receipts into one DocuSign envelope and an email will be sent to every buyer who still needs to sign.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I customize the email template that gets sent?

Not in Spark. The email originates from DocuSign and follows your DocuSign settings.

How do I know once the document has been signed?

You’ll get an email notification from DocuSign. In Spark, the status badge on the contract changes to All Completed, and the Disclosure/Amendment Statistics page updates automatically.

How do I view the signed document?

On the contract page, click the document name to open it, or choose Download to save a copy.

What if I need to resend the signature request?

Just like with contracts, signature requests must be resent directly from your DocuSign account, if necessary.
