Managing Service Request Subscribers (Juniper)
Subscribers keep the right people informed, even when they aren’t the primary assignee. Give subscribed service managers, service providers, and property developers real‑time visibility into a request and stay up to date.
Why use subscribers
-
Keep everyone up to date on progress without reassigning the ticket
-
Share context with stakeholders who need to weigh in
-
Empower teams to act quickly when priorities shift
What subscribers can do
Subscribers have the same permissions as the currently assigned service provider. They can:
-
Update the request status
-
Post messages and notes
-
Attach files
-
Receive all email notifications for status changes and new messages
Subscribed requests appear in a user’s dashboard alongside any they’re directly assigned. To focus only the ones that are being followed (not the assigned ones), toggle on Subscribed Only.
How to add subscribers to a service request
-
Open the Service Request detail page
-
On the Subscribers card, click the pencil icon
-
Search for a service provider, service manager, or property developer, then select Add
-
Review your list and choose Save
Note: The assigned service provider can’t also be a subscriber.
How to remove subscribers from a service request
Anyone with edit permissions (property developers, service managers, service providers, admins, and super admins) can remove subscribers, including themselves.
-
Open the Service Request detail page
-
Click the pencil icon on the Subscribers card
-
Deselect the contact you want to remove
-
Select Save
Reassignment and subscribers
Reassigning a service request doesn’t change the subscriber list. Since a user cannot be assigned to a request and also be subscribed to it, if you need to reassign the service request to a user that is currently a subscriber, first, remove them as a subscriber, then proceed with the reassignment.
