Sending Text Messages from a Contact Profile

Text contacts directly from their profile, then review sent and incoming messages in the Communications widget.

Before you begin

  • Your Spark account must have the Aircall integration connected and an Aircall plan that gives access to the Messaging API.
  • The contact must have a phone number saved on their profile.

Send a text message from a contact profile

  1. Open the contact profile
  2. Click the contact’s phone number
  3. Select Message
    • If you are sending a message from your computer, the Aircall dashboard or browser dialer will pop up
    • If you are sending a message from a mobile device such as a phone or tablet, the Aircall app will open
  4. Write your message, then click Send

Review messages in the Communications widget

  1. Open the contact profile
  2. In the Communications widget, go to Messages
  3. Click a message to view the full text

Incoming messages also appear in this section.

Where else message activity appears

In addition to the Communications widget, Spark shows message activity – including messages sent via Follow Up Schedule – in:

  • The Activity feed
  • The Interactions section
