[Contact Page](https://knowledge.spark.re/beta?hsLang=en#contact-page) # Viewing a Contact's Activity: Timeline, Emails, Calls, and Messages ## The Timeline, Emails, Calls, and Messages tabs on a contact's profile page each show a different kind of activity history, from general activity to synced emails, calls, and texts. ### Getting Started - **Who can do this:** Anyone with access to a contact's profile can view these tabs and complete actions from them. - **Before you start:** You'll need to have the new design enabled. See [Getting to Know the Redesigned Contact Profile Page](https://knowledge.spark.re/getting-to-know-the-redesigned-contact-profile-page?hsLang=en) to learn how to enable this view. to be on the contact's profile page. Use the global search bar or go to **Menu \> Contacts \> List** to find your contact. Seeing received emails on the **Emails** tab also requires email sync to be set up; see [Email Sync Overview](https://knowledge.spark.re/email-sync-overview?hsLang=en). The **Calls** and **Messages** tabs require an Aircall integration; see [Integrating with Aircall](https://knowledge.spark.re/integrating-with-aircall?hsLang=en). ### What is the Timeline tab? The **Timeline** tab, previously called the *Activity Feed*, shows a contact's activity grouped by date. If more than one activity happened on the same date, they're grouped together under that date. Older events are available by paging through the tab. ### What shows up on a contact's Emails tab? The **Emails** tab shows one-to-one emails sent to the contact, whether sent through Spark or through a synced email address, along with any email campaigns sent to them. If an email sync integration is set up, you'll also see emails you've received from the contact. Campaigns also show statistics such as whether the email was delivered, opened, or clicked.   **Note:** In order for emails sent via an email sync integration to appear in this section, *Show inbox emails to everyone* must be enabled in your [Communications Settings](https://knowledge.spark.re/email-sync-setup-project-level#inbox-visibility): 1. Go to **Settings \> Communications** 2. Click on the **Email Sync** tab 3. In the Inbox visibility section, select *Show inbox emails to everyone*     ### How do I add a note to a phone call? On the **Calls** tab, find the call and click into the **Add a Note** section for that call, type your note, and click **Add**. Calls are grouped by date, newest first, and older calls are available by paging through the tab. You can also use the micromenu next to a call for additional actions. ### How do I assign a call to the right contact when contacts share a phone number? If multiple contacts share the same phone number, an incoming call may land on the **Unassigned** tab instead of a specific contact. Go to the **Unassigned** tab and assign the call to the correct contact. ### Where do text messages appear on a contact's profile? Text messages synced in from Aircall appear on the **Messages** tab, in reverse chronological order with the most recent message first. Not enrolled in the beta program?
