Analytics Dashboard Menu & Configuration

Reorganize, clone, edit, send, share, export, and delete analytics dashboards with ease.

The Dashboard has been designed for flexibility. Drag and drop reports to reorder them on your dashboard. Existing reports will shift to make room as you drag each report into position.

You can also resize each report by hovering over it. This will make a double arrow appear in the bottom right corner; click and drag the double arrow to make your report larger or smaller.

To view the dashboard menu, click the micromenu (icon) toward the top right. You will see the following options:

Menu Item Description
Edit

The Dashboard Edit modal allows you to update the dashboard’s name, description, and category. Click Update Dashboard to save your changes.

Clone

Create a duplicate copy of the dashboard- note that share settings to not carry over to the new version.

Send

Click + Schedule to send a dashboard. If you would like to send the dashboard to team members who are also Spark users, select them in the Team Members dropdown.

To send the dashboard to individuals who are not also Spark users, use the radio button to select “Allow non-Spark users to access the live dashboard” and enter their email addresses where indicated.

Next, use the radio buttons to choose whether the email should be sent only once or on a recurring basis. If the email should be sent on a recurring basis, be sure to define the interval, sending time (per the project time zone), and end conditions.

Finally, give the email a name (not displayed in the email), a subject line, and a body, then click Schedule.

This will send a link to the live dashboard to all specified recipients. The link will expire 90 days after the most recent email link is sent.

Note: because the link is to the live dashboard, what the recipient sees depends on when they view the dashboard - if they view the dashboard immediately upon receiving the link, the data will appear as it was when the link was sent, but if they view it again a day later, the dashboard will have updated to the most recent information.

Share

Click + Add Team Members to share the dashboard with specified team members - choose the team member(s) from the dropdown list, then choose their share permissions:

  • Viewer - can view the dashboard and has access to some data settings
  • Editor - can edit the dashboard and has access to all data settings

If you select the Viewer permission, use the checkbox to enable (or disable) export options. Editors are always able to export the dashboard.

Optional: add an expiration date if you only wish to share the dashboard for a set period of time

Click Share to share the dashboard.

Export to Excel

Export the raw data as an .xlxs file.

Delete

Permanently delete the dashboard. Since this action is irreversible, you must confirm you wish to proceed in the resulting popup.

Select an option from the menu to perform that action.
