Fees allow you to keep track of additional charges that are paid for by purchasers on any default price in Spark and can be applied to the contract calculation at a point you determine.
Set default fee structures to display when writing a new contract by navigating to Settings → Contracts and choosing the Fees tab.
To create a new fee structure, click the New Structure button, name the fee structure, and, optionally, add a description. Next, add either a percentage amount or a fixed amount. Unlike discount structures, fee structures may only have one of these options. If a percentage amount is selected, a dropdown will display available prices in that category. The available options are:
Calculate In | Description |
Subtotal Price |
Applies the fee in the subtotal price calculation (by default, purchase price on the unit plus color schemes, options & upgrades, parking stalls, and storage units, minus all discounts) |
Total Price |
Applies the fee in the total price calculation (by default, subtotal price plus taxes) |
Closing Price |
Applies the fee in the closing price calculation (by default, total price minus credits) |
You have the ability to calculate the percent based on the following prices when calculating in the Subtotal Price:
- Purchase Price
- Adjusted Price
- Purchase Price Plus Add Ons
- Purchase Price Including Discounts
Once you have added the amount, click Save Fee Structure to save the changes. If a fee structure needs to be edited, click the Edit button to its right.
