Email Sync Setup (Project Level)

Set interaction types and save routine responses as snippets to save time and standardize answers when replying to frequently asked questions or other types of common emails.

Setting Interaction Types

 

Note: This step is very important to ensure emails are tied to interactions. If you do not complete this step for each project, any emails sent or received will not automatically be tied to an interaction and you will also be unable to backtrack and associate previously sent or received emails.

 

To set email interaction types, navigate to Settings → Emails → Email Sync. Use the dropdown lists to select the desired interaction types for both outgoing and incoming emails.

If the desired interaction type does not exist, create it in Settings → Contacts → Interactions.

 

Response Templates

 

Response templates are available to the entire team and can be inserted into an email to quickly provide a company-approved, standardized answer to common emails without having to type and re-type the same content. 


To create a snippet, navigate to Settings → Emails (under the Project Settings header) and click the Email Sync tab. Name the response template in the left column, then click Save to save the snippet. To edit a response template, click on its name in the left column, add text and apply any desired formatting in the right column, then click Save to save the changes.
