Integrating with Aircall
Interactions in one place. Sync your calls and texts to view them within the contact’s larger context in Spark, and collaborate better with your team.
Note: Before you begin, create your Aircall account and configure phone numbers and call distribution in Aircall. The email address for your Aircall account must match the email address for your Spark account.
Who can complete this integration
The Aircall integration must be completed by a company-level Administrator in Spark who also has Administrator access to the Aircall account. See Aircall Account Setup for details.
Connect Aircall at the company level
- From the company dashboard in Spark, go to Settings → Integrations.
- In Add a new integration, select Learn more on the Aircall tile.
- Click + Connect Aircall.
- Sign in with your Aircall credentials, then click Confirm to authorise the connection.
Sync team members and phone numbers
After authorising Aircall, Spark shows who and what is synced.
Team members
- You will see a list of team members with synced Aircall accounts. Calls and text messages from these team members will sync to Spark.
- To add more team members, add them to your Aircall account using the same email address they use in Spark, then click Sync in Spark.
- If a user’s email in Aircall does not match their email in Spark, they will not appear in the synced list.
Phone numbers
- You will see a list of synced phone numbers assigned to your Aircall integration. Calls and text messages from these numbers will sync to Spark.
- To add phone numbers, connect the number in your Aircall integration first. Then return to Spark and click Sync to update the list.
Choose company-level communication logging
Decide how Spark assigns synced calls and messages to projects.
- Enabled: Spark assigns each call or message to every project that has a matching contact and where the team member is also on that project.
- Disabled: If a contact belongs to multiple projects, calls and messages are not auto-assigned. Your team will assign them to a project manually.
Click Save Settings to finish the company-level setup.
Set call and message rules for each project
Once the integration is connected, complete the call and message settings at the project level.
Note: If you skip this step, calls and messages may not log as expected. Repeat the steps below for every project where you want to log calls and/or messages.
- Open the project.
- Go to Settings → Communications.
- Choose the Calls tab (for phone calls) or Messages tab (for texts).
- From the dropdowns, choose the interaction types for incoming and outgoing calls or messages.
- Don’t see the interaction type you need? Go to Settings → Contacts → Interactions tab to create it. See Contact Settings for details.
- Repeat for both Calls and Messages (if your Aircall plan includes messages), and for each project that uses Aircall.
Troubleshooting
- A team member isn’t syncing: Confirm they exist in Aircall and in Spark with the same email address, then click Sync in Spark.
- A phone number is missing: Add the number in your Aircall integration first, then click Sync in Spark.
- Interaction type not listed: Create it under Settings → Contacts → Interactions tab, then return to the Calls/Messages tab in the Communications Settings to select it.
