Canceling/Rescinding a Contract

 

To cancel a contract, navigate to the appropriate contract details page and scroll to the bottom. Click Reset/Rescind. Enter the reason for rescinding the contract and click Reset/Rescind to reset the contract.


Note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone, so be absolutely certain you wish to cancel the contract before proceeding. 


A rescinded contract will cause the following:

 

  • The contract status will change to Rescinded (or the custom status for rescinded contracts for your specific project, if one was created).
  • The contract will be archived but can still be viewed as an inactive contract.
  • If the contract was assigned from a previous buyer, the original contract will be reactivated.
  • If the contract was not assigned from a previous buyer, the inventory status will be reset.
