Sending Analytics Dashboards
How to send or schedule a dashboard
You can send a dashboard to Spark users and non-Spark users by opening the dashboard micromenu, selecting Send, and clicking + Schedule. Complete the recipient, format, frequency, and message fields, then click Schedule to finish.
- Click the micromenu to the right of the dashboard (from the Dashboard List) or toward the top right (when viewing the dashboard), then select Send.
- Click + Schedule.
- To send the dashboard to team members who are also Spark users, select them in the Team Members dropdown.
Tip: Sent dashboards do not account for Spark permissions; recipients have access to all reports even if they have a restricted user role.
- To send the dashboard to individuals who are not Spark users, select Allow non-Spark users to access the live dashboard and enter their email addresses where indicated.
- In the Downloads section, use the checkbox to choose whether to include a static snapshot of the dashboard in XLSX format.
- Use the radio buttons to choose whether the dashboard should be sent only once or on a scheduled, recurring basis. If sent on a recurring basis, define the interval, sending time (per the project time zone), and end conditions.
- Give the email a name (not displayed in the email), a subject line, and a body, then click Schedule.
What recipients receive and how long the link lasts
This will send an email with a link to the live dashboard and, optionally, a "snapshot" attachment with the information as it was when the email was sent to all specified recipients. The link will expire after a set period following the most recent email being sent (verify the current expiration window in your account settings or by contacting support).
Tip: Because the link connects to the live dashboard, the data displayed reflects the state of the dashboard at the time of viewing. Recipients who access the link immediately will see data as it was when the link was sent; those who return later will see the most current information.
