Using the Calendar (Juniper)
Stay organized and in control. The new Calendar feature gives homeowners a clear, visual overview of all upcoming service and walkthrough appointments - providing Property Developers and Juniper Admins with a complete overview of all their scheduled events across their properties to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
June 2025: This is a new feature! If you don't see the Calendar option on your left-side navigation pane, clear your Juniper cache by typing update.html at the end of the URL in your address bar. For example, https://app.hellojuniper.co/update.html.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Open the Calendar
Use the left-hand side menu to select the Calendar. Juniper Admins see all tenant events, while Property Developers see only their own assigned projects.
Step 2: Set your Date Range
Select the from and to dates for the range you'd like to display. The legend shows which event types and properties have scheduled events within your selected date range. Event types include walkthroughs/inspections and individual service request appointments.Step 3: View Individual Appointments
Click on an event to open a detailed view of the individual appointment.
You will be able to view the following details for a service request:
- Property
- Unit/suite
- Event type
- Date & time
- Homeowner name
- Days since the request was submitted
- Service provider (trade) assigned to the request
- Service request ticket # and description
You will be able to view the following details for a walkthrough/inspection:
- Property
- Unit/suite
- Type of walkthrough/inspection
- Date & time
- Status of walkthrough/inspection
- Homeowner name
Step 4: Edit Calendar Information/Appointments
The Calendar automatically amalgamates all appointments based on what’s going on in Juniper. To reschedule appointments, open the relevant service request and make the necessary adjustments to the appointment date and time.
In order for walkthroughs to appear on the calendar, you will need to schedule them via Calendly. For more about scheduling walkthroughs, see Scheduling Walkthroughs (Juniper).
Conclusion
The calendar delivers immediate value for Property Developers while laying the foundation for future Service Manager and Service Provider access. We now have a solid foundation to potentially build more calendar features on top of this, including weekly views, additional user roles, and enhanced scheduling capabilities down the road.
